High Performance AC Drives Series from Omron

-- Product News, 3 July 2008

Omron Electronics LLC has introduced 3 new high-performance AC drive series that, it claims, help machine builders and plants achieve energy savings in a time of rising utility costs and extend motor life to reduce operating costs. These AC drives were designed to be easy to install and maintain for fast commissioning and maximum system availability.
The 3G3JX series for simple applications offers V/Hz control; the compact 3G3MX for side-by-side mounting offers open loop control; the 3G3RX series provides both open- and closed-loop control.
"This new line of drives fills a gap in our industrial automation offering and allows someone to build a more complete control system from Omron as a primary supplier," according to Gregg Holst, the Americas President and COO for Omron Electronics LLC. These space-saving AC drives are also RoHS compliant to assist in pursuing environmentally responsible procurement and e-waste disposal programs.
