Advantech Announces eService Touch Computer

-- Product News, 1 February 2010

Advantech has launched the UTC-W101 eService Touch Computer, a fanless Intel Atom based all-in-one system, with a 10.1” wide, resistive LCD panel. UTC-W101 is designed for standalone use with interactive applications in the hospitality, retail, healthcare, and other industries. The cost-effective panel PC has programmable function keys, a service call LED lamp, and is designed to fit different eServices environments, while delivering industrial grade reliability, says Advantech.
The UTC-W101 is fanless, allowing it to operate noiselessly and its front panel is built to meet IP65/NEMA 4 standards, giving it protection from dust and water. The low-power consuming Intel Atom processor makes it cost-effective, and the 16:9, 10.1” WSXGA display provides end-users with a natural viewing experience.
Notably, the UTC-W101 is a recipient of the Taiwan Mark of Excellence Award in 2010, offered by TAITRA (Taiwan External Trade Development Council) to companies that deliver innovative and value-added products.
